After going to the Friday the 13th kickoff of the Dallas CityArts Festival, I was inspired to make a new design -- I like it much better. The skyline here is fantastic, and I tried getting a good shot of it that night but...it just wasn't working for me. I wanted to get some representation of it in my header though, so my husband made a skyline image with me. He did half and I did the other. His half is the more detailed right side, which he did in paint! Mine is the more simple left side done in photoshop. I like it. It's a good representation of me seeing the whole and of him being the detail man. I also originally wanted to have more color, but the mostly white design I have now is better for images. Voila!
There was some wonderful art and pottery on display, lots of good food, and after walking through all the vendor booths, we met some friends to see The Reverend Horton Heat, play. Even though it was 200 degrees outside, it was still a great time.
