Busy, busy.

Work has been insane for the past few weeks, and I haven't had a chance to even think about blogging. Finally, knock on wood, I'm caught up and life is good.

I have added some links to my recommended list, including Bad Ass Ideas, Buzz Machine, Dopp Juice, and Subtraction. I am working on writing entries for this blog as well as for our department blog at work -- one designed to provide useful design/dev/usability/etc. info to our online news producers but that doesn't get updated as much as it should. I'm making it a mid-year resolution to start paying more attention to it.

I also found that after OJR's Goodbye message, there was an update advising that Knight Digital Media is the place to go now that OJR is dead, and that the OJR archives would be kept alive. I wasn't sure about that claim (I liked OJR), but then I saw this nice mention of a crusade by Dallas Morning News to do what they can to help the less fortunate parts of the city grow. It is a wonderful series and I'm anxious to see what results come of it.

On that note, I'll end with one of my favorite views of a fortunate corner in a most fortunate part of Dallas:
